Ideally we should all get a trim every six weeks as recommended by the professionals, but that isn’t necessarily realistic for all of us. The first step to liven up dull winter hair is trim those dead ends that makes your hair look dull.

My all time favourite DIY Hot Oil Treatment: Mix and match two tablespoons of any of the following oils: jojoba oil, almond oil, coconut oil and olive oil. Mix them into a microwave safe bowl and heat for 15 second intervals until warm but not too hot, and apply from root to tip. Cover your hair with a shower cap and apply heat and rinse. It leaves your hair feeling silky smooth and moisturised.
