The Tale of a small town girl with a big city passion

I'm certain you're acquainted with the fairy tales we've been nurtured with as young women about damsels in distress and Prince Charming on his white horse. The storyline creates the expectation of daisy’s and sequence. However, people tend to jump the paragraph which tells us about being in our twenties, when you're all grown up, bawling eyes out the night before your first job, not even sure how getting medical aid works or filling in forms that seem to never end and striving to somehow fill your spirit with your in-depth passions and set goals. So how about we rewind back to that paragraph?
Once upon a time, in a small town at the foot of the mountain far away surrounded by wandering cattle, blazing hot particles that consume the air and individuals living in their little boxes of small minded thoughts was born a little scrawny girl fascinated with life, people and just being out in the world of making new friends and socialising. Granting she couldn’t quite identify what exactly attracted her into the words of the latest Tracy Beaker edition that she knew would pop up in the mail monthly with some goodies, she always kept a magazine of sort under her bed to consume the words like a bedtime story. As she grew up things changed, people changed, her best friends became enemies (the sort that would leave her running home crying or sitting in the bathroom at break to avoid embarrassment) what happened to the social life she adored? Eventual years went by she moved from her small town where walking barefoot was the norm to a city where everything seemed bigger, the people were not consumed by their boxes and social life was like a scene from her dreams and a story out of Tracy Beaker.

Make up started filling her cosmetic bag that was once empty and social media become a lifestyle in the fast city living. Friendship grew, jealously broke many but she absorbed the negativity and turned them to positives. No more running home crying or eating a sandwich while holding closed your nose to be able to actually taste your lunch vaguely with the stench penetrating your nostrils and devouring the taste buds.

Soon the girl began to set her plan in motion, to better herself, live the lifestyle she dreamt of as a little girl, with daisy’s and sequence, with a tribe she calls her own and a booming social life to tell her tale as more seemed to notice her become the young woman her dad has always seen.

Regardless of the impediments that she endured, she came out on the other side she has a job, completed her bank forms, knows what medical aid actually is all about. Now she is girl you will stumble upon her spreading her story and just flourishing through life. The little girl from the small town knows that she is not the only one striving for better. She stands satisfied that her adventure may be never ending but not one fit for any old fairy-tale with a hardcover and pretty things....

Namaste xx
