After a lengthy, demanding day, we all just want plonk into bed and
start counting sheep. But we also want to feel pampered and of cause uphold a certain standard because trust me even
our significant other would be a bit troubled if we went a few days with a patchy manicure and oily hair. I am a bit lazy at times and turn to some easy hacks as my go to before bed to still wake up feeling human. After Googling and watching a ton of Youtube videos to make life easier for myself I came upon hacks I live by to push my beauty sleep to it's limit.
For soft hands:
Apply a thick layer of hand cream on your hands, put on light cotton gloves and leave it on overnight, you will wake up with baby soft hands.
For smooth heals:
massage a thick cream onto your feet,put on warm snug socks and get cosy for a good night's rest.
Silk pillowcase:
Sleeping on a silk pillowcase is actually more beneficial than people realise for your hair, it reduces spit ends,BUT not only that, it also leaves you with a smooth crease free face in the morning!
Soft lips:
Exfoliate your lips before bed (you can use a mixture or brown sugar and honey/olive oil as a lip scrub and then end it off with a good moisturising lip balm or even a nourishing oil (olive oil, coconut oil or almond oil).
Longer lashes:
Apply Castor oil to your eyelashes at night to help them grow longer and fuller.
Erasing wrinkles:
Apply a sleeping mask over your everyday moisturiser before you go to bed, it assists with keeping your face hydrated all night long.
Reducing pimples:
Treat unwanted blemishes while you fast asleep by applying tea tree on the effected areas and it will diminish overnight.
Silky locks:
Apply a generous amount of coconut oil on your hair before bed and cover it with a shower cap (my coloured tendencies sometimes lead to a spar packet) to avoid smudging a oily patch on your pillow case and rinse it out the following morning for silky locks.
