I have been following Robyn on social media for about two year and recently my news feed has been exploding with her successful venture into the world of nails and I am actually beaming with excitement to share a bit of her with all of you.
1. Who is Robyn?
Robyn is an ambitious young lady, always striving to be better than yesterday. I've always been the youngest of the bunch,having started school early, thus I've always felt determined to show people that age and intelligence aren't related.
Most people would say I'm stubborn - I'd like to just think I'm always right😏 I go the extra mile to put a smile on other people's faces however I'm also very outspoken.
I'm dedicated to completing a task to the best of my ability in order too achieve the best results.
2. How did Polished come along?
Polished started with a young lady who could no longer afford to do her nails monthly due to various reasons. The very same lady who put a "UV Lamp" on her Christmas wish list 2 years ago, to do her own nails with the intentions of just using UV glaze to make the "nail polish last longer" - clearly it didn't stop there. She taught herself how to do acrylic build-up (yes, build -up - not dip). Her best friend requested to do her nails and soon the word spread. Her best friend and partner then, later, encouraged her to start her own little business in order to bring in some money whilst studying.
Today, Polished has a loyal client base, with friends and clients who have come and gone. We are still going strong continuing to build our client base from day-to-day.
3. What does the future of Polished look it?
In 2017 we are proud to announce the collaboration with two of the owners closest friends, both of whom are qualified in their respective fields. Polished is expanding beyond just nails, by December 2017 Polished will be a proud supporter of Herbalife and will be using the Herbalife Skincare Products during facials and massages - yes you read correct. By the end of 2017 we will be offering facials and massages.
But that's not all - we will
also be doing kid's pamper parties and bachelorette pamper parties at
affordable prices AND we are moving within the course of the year into a
more comfortable space.
4. What is the one tip or trick you live by when doing nails?
Preparation is the key to a beautiful set of nails.
